Pantai Holdings has announced plans to build a healthcare complex in Iskandar, Malaysia, and has purchased six hectares of land for this purpose.

An agreement to construct the hospital has been signed between Pantai Hospital Johor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pantai Holdings, and Global Capital & Development, a consortium led by Mubadala Development Company.

The healthcare complex, which will be built in phases, will consist of a 300-bed private tertiary hospital, a 150-suite medical office block with centres of excellence to meet the healthcare needs of the population.
