Japan’s Chiba University Hospital Clinical Research Center has deployed Medidata Solutions’ Rave product for electronic data capture and clinical data management.
The facility chose Rave based on its ability to minimise trial costs and drive studies in any clinical research environment across sites around the world.
Rave will also enable to further increase collaboration with national and international university hospitals throughout Asia, the US and Europe.
Implementation is likely to be complete by early 2012.
Medidata Solutions CEO Tarek Sherif said that Rave will allow the research centre to increase the number of trials it takes on each year, and build and strengthen relationships with pharmaceutical and academic research organisations worldwide.
