SpineGuard has reported that its PediGuard platform has demonstrated a reduced incidence of clinically relevant misplaced screws during enhanced pedicle screw placement in its latest trial.
SpineGuard chief technology officer and general manager of US operations Stéphane Bette said that the PediGuard platform is designed to be a safe and effective alternative to conventional modalities for implanting pedicle screws.
SpineGuard CEO Pierre Jérôme said that the latest clinical evidence supporting the use of PediGuard as standard of care for placing pedicle screws will enable widespread adoption of PediGuard by the spine surgery community.
“It is a ‘must-have’ solution to the well-documented clinical need for safer pedicle screw placement – the number one challenge in spine surgery,” Jérôme added.
