Plenary Health Niagara has received funding for a new healthcare complex at St Catharines, Ontario, to open in 2013.
Construction of the 375-bed complex will begin in May this year.
The facility will provide niche services in the region, including treatment for cancer, heart disease and mental disorders.
Plenary Health Niagara will receive annual payments of about $759m from Niagara Health System over a 30-year period for maintenance and repair.
