NHS Lothian has partnered with BAM Construction to build a £150m hospital for sick children at Little France in Scotland.

The new Royal Hospital will be double the size of the existing Victorian RHSCE, and will treat more children and young people up to the age of 18.

It is planned to have large number of single ensuite rooms that are high-tech and homely, with open views from the hospital to green space outside and relaxation space for friends and family visiting.

BAM Construction will design and build the hospital as per the design brief compiled by NHS Lothian.

The construction will be jointly funded by the NHS Lothian, the Scottish Government and charitable contributions.
