The African National Congress (ANC) in South Africa has strongly condemned the strike by the country’s doctors who are fighting for wage issues.

By disregarding the sick and dying, doctors had lost public trust and respect, a statement from the government said.

ANC said that the doctors on strike should return to work and settle the outstanding issues through the Bargaining Chamber.
