The Zahra Association for Breast Cancer in Saudi Arabia has launched its latest stage of a charity campaign aimed at financing mobile clinics offering free mammogram tests.

The latest stage in the campaign hopes to generate enough funds to set up three mobile clinics for mammogram testing in rural villages.

Educational workshops and statistical analysis are also being carried out to investigate the causes of why there has been an increase in the disease.

The mobile clinics will be connected to the main centre for cancer treatment in Riyadh as well as to other clinics across the nation and will transfer information about cases in rural areas, the Saudi Gazette reports.
