Construction of the A$10m Palmerston GP Super Clinic in Australia has begun, the government has announced.

The new facilities will offer primary health and childcare services to Palmerston residents through community-based and outpatient services.

The GP Super Clinic will have privately practising GPs, practice nurses, allied health professionals and medical specialists to provide integrated care services to the local residents.

Construction company Norbuilt has been chosen to build the clinic alongside the A$2.4m childcare centre also being developed.
