Hospitals in the UAE lack enough staff to handle the increasing number of H1N1 influenza cases swarming the country’s hospitals, an official from the National Committee for Combating Swine Flu said.

The official said that hospitals have reported an average of two new H1N1 cases daily for the last two months, Gulf News reports.

The UAE has announced steps to tackle the virus and will set up thermal scanners in public areas.
