A new dental centre will be established in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by the end of 2009, according to a senior health official.
The new dental centre will consist of 40 separate dental clinics and will be located in the city centre, Saudi Gazette reports.
One of the country’s biggest retail chains, Hyper Panda, has been working with the Ministry of Health and Jeddah Health Affairs Management to promote dental health awareness in Jeddah by setting up mobile clinics in major shopping malls, the news agency reports.
The government and the private sector will continue to work closely on promoting dental health awareness, a Hyper Panda executive said.
