Turkey’s government has chosen US architect firm OWP/P to provide consulting services for planning and designing a new 2,600-bed hospital in the Etlik region.
OWP/P will work in collaboration with NKY Architects to build the 5.5 million square foot facility, OWP/P said.
The Etlik medical campus will house six separate units including a general hospital, cardiovascular, neuroscience, children’s, women’s and oncology facilities, linked by a diagnostic and treatment base.
The campus will feature 90 operating rooms and an emergency department with the capacity to handle up to 2,500 visits per day.
