The Premier healthcare alliance, a network of 2,200 US hospitals, will implement new RFID asset tracking and management solutions to improve patient safety and staff efficiency.
AeroScout’s Wi-Fi-based RFID solutions will provide Premier’s member hospitals with visibility into the location and status of assets, patients and staff across all hospital departments, the company said.
AeroScout’s healthcare solutions include real-time asset management, equipment maintenance, humidity and temperature monitoring, and patient and staff safety.
The new solutions meet the needs of clinical staff, biomedical engineers, laboratory staff, pharmacy personnel and other hospital users, Premier said.
