India’s Hinduja Group will expand the capacity of its existing hospital in Mumbai and establish a new facility through an investment of Rs350 crore over the next four years.

The group will add 250 beds at the already established P D Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Press Trust of India reports.

The group will also build a 100-bed hospital in Mumbai on a greenfield site with an investment of Rs150 crore, the news agency reports.

Construction has begun at the new site and the facility is expected to open by April 2010, hospital authorities said.
