UK National Health Service (NHS) employees are being encouraged to give feedback about their experiences at work to help improve care being delivered to patients.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will contact over 300,000 staff across all sectors and roles in 392 trusts to participate and give their views in the seventh annual NHS Staff Survey.
CQC digital communications and surveys head Nancy Wolstenholme said that the staff survey was a vital tool in efforts to improve the NHS for patients and staff.
“Staff experiences and their working environment naturally affect organisational outcomes and in the NHS this includes the quality of care patients receive,” Wolstenholme said.
The survey results will be used by trusts to improve working conditions and practices, the CQC said.
