Kuwait is considering leasing air ambulance services to aid in the transfer of severe medical cases to the hospital as quickly as possible, government officials have said.
The Kuwaiti Health Ministry is analysing the option of hiring aircraft to help in traffic accident cases where huge traffic jams are involved, making it difficult for ambulatory teams to reach the victim, according to Kuwait News Agency.
Air ambulance services would save valuable time and lives and leasing aircraft would be less expensive than purchasing them, the ministry said.
