France has signed a reconstruction project for a hospital in Gaza that was damaged during Israel’s attacks on Palestine.
The $3m (€2m) project includes reconstruction and re-equipment of the intensive care unit of the Al Quds hospital, according to afp.com.
The hospital is located near the Red Crescent’s main centre in Gaza.
French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner signed on the project on a one-day visit to Israel alongside the Palestinian Red Crescent vice-president Abdallah Sabri.
