Construction work on the new Kaiser Replacement Hospital in Fontana, California, which will meet the new seismic safety standards drafted by the state, is underway.

The new hospital will have seven storeys, featuring 314 beds, and will offer 482,078ft² of state-of-the-art medical facilities.

The hospital will be one of the largest and most technologically advanced medical facilities in the Inland Empire when it opens in 2013, replacing the existing hospital on the medical centre’s campus.
