An approach of integrative medicines needs to be deployed around the world to combat the H1N1 influenza virus, according to leading experts.
Cornell University’s Dr David Jin said, when speaking at the Buchang Health Forum, that prevention and treatment strategies need to be optimised at hospitals across the world.
“This global pandemic can only be managed and controlled through international collaboration of medical, pharmaceutical, and educational resources,” Jin said.
The Buchang Health Forum was held in New York to address strategies to tackle the pandemic and was organised by Buchang and the Chinese Cultural Foundation and Greater China Corporation to boost integration between the East and West.
