Patients in the UK have been warned against cell enriched breast enhancement procedure as there is not enough data to prove its long-term success.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr Ravi Jain has warned patients not to rush into the procedure and advised patients to wait for more information on the treatment following reports that the first UK patient has undergone cell enriched breast enhancement.
“If trials prove successful, this is definitely going to be the future of cosmetic treatments, but still has some way to go,” Dr Jain said.
The procedure is a chemical-free treatment that involves taking cells and fat from the patient’s body, such as buttocks or thighs, and injecting it into the breast to increase their size.
