US hospital group Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) has chosen the Allscripts electronic health record (EHR) solution to enhance the quality of patient care by automating clinical workflow and enabling better access to patient health records.
The solution will be deployed for CHI’s 1,050 employed physicians and more than 7,200 non-employed physicians affiliated with CHI’s 75 facilities nationwide.
The EHR solution is aimed at improving communication and delivers more cost-effective care for CHI communities in 19 states, including over 350 medical practices and 75 hospitals.
The solution enables healthcare professionals to access patient information and the latest clinical content for real-time decision making across the care continuum.
