KORE Telematics has joined Australia’s Mach Communications and ResMed to provide a global communications platform for the S9 Series, the company’s new range of respiratory medical devices, which provide telemetry solutions to reduce problems associated with sleep apnea.

ResMed’s Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) / Auto-adjusting Positive Airway Pressure (APAP) device, the S9 Series, will help patients with sleep apnea have a restful night’s sleep.

ResMed’s S9 Series fits within the patient’s home environment to track and communicate vital clinical data for patients suffering from sleep apnea.

The S9 Series, launched in the US, Germany, France, UK, Australia and other major global markets, offers compliance management solutions that assist in delivering a high quality of patient care.

After the clinician logs in and assigns a machine to the patient, the service then connects to the KORE Telematics network and a reporting and treatment schedule is sent via SMS to the ResMed S9 device.

ResMed’s S9 compliance management solution captures detailed graphical data and high resolution flow data, including 365 days of therapy and compliance data, 30 days of detailed data and seven days of high resolution flow data, for the early detection of sleep apnea problems.
