The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the US has won an award for promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging employees and families to maintain healthy lifestyles.
The National Business Group on Health, a US-based non-profit association of employers, named the hospital one of the 2010 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles for its Your Life, Your Work, Your Well-being programme.

Employees were also given access to to health and wellness coaches, screenings, behaviour improvement tools (including tobacco cessation programmes), an expectant parent programme and lactation support.
