The Flowers Hospital of Dothan, Alabama, US, has chosen the ScheduleAnywhere software by Atlas Business Solutions (ABS) for its online nurse scheduling on its network of 650 nursing staff.
The programme is helping the hospital to ensure proper shift coverage, eliminate scheduling clashes, track time-off and hours scheduled, handle staff availability, track skills and certifications, as well as estimate payroll costs.

Flowers Hospital nursing assistant director Charles Tew said that it was becoming more difficult to schedule hospital’s nursing staff using Excel spreadsheets, especially with the constant changes to the schedule.

With the ScheduleAnywhere software, managers at the hospital will have access to staff schedules, in which scheduling coordinators can make informed staffing decisions based on existing schedule data.
