Huntsville Memorial Hospital (Huntsville), a general medical and surgical hospital in Huntsville, Texas, has selected Strata Decision’s StrataJazz for cost accounting, operating budgeting, long-range financial planning, and capital planning.
Huntsville will replace its existing set of disparate financial applications with StrataJazz, which will provide the hospital with a unified database platform for all of its financial planning and decision support needs, and will integrate with its existing Meditech EHR and ERP.

StrataJazz is expected to improve user experience and provide much easier access to data to help make informed decisions.
Huntsville will complete the implementation of StrataJazz operating budgeting and management reporting in early 2014, while cost accounting, long-range financial planning, and capital planning is anticipated to begin in early 2014.
Huntsville CFO Guy Gros said the hospital’s goal was to have a single financial platform to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its budgeting and costing.
