The Ministry of Public Housing in Indonesia has announced that it will construct three new hospitals focused on treating worker-related injuries.
The government will spend Rp200bn ($21.8m) on the facilities, which will be located in the industrial areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.

The facilities will be equipped with emergency rooms to handle work-related accidents that usually occur in the industrial areas, reports Antara News.
The management of the proposed hospitals will arrange operational and medical costs by working with the state-owned insurance company PT Jamsostek.
Land for the hospitals had already been allocated by the regional administrations and the construction is expected to commence by mid-2012.
Upon completion, the ministry may build another five hospitals, minister Djan Faridz told reporters in the area.
