Port Huron Hospital in Michigan, US, will implement the Quantros IRIS Executive clinical business application suite for its transition to IRIS from a legacy data analytics tool.
Quantros IRIS Executive is designed to integrate data from quality, safety and billing systems throughout a healthcare organisation. IRIS then presents this data to end users through a highly configurable, role-based dashboard, thereby offering a reliable source of near-real time quality, safety and billing information.
Port Huron Hospital quality management director Mary Pool said the medical centre has had positive experience with Quantros products.
"IRIS Executive provides stakeholders throughout our organisation immediate access to one unified source for safety and quality performance data. It provides the analytics tools to improve our care environment," Pool added.
Quantros chief medical officer Gerard Livaudais said that healthcare providers must be able to separate signal from noise, and to share that performance improvement focus for staff across the organisation.
"Beginning with performance leaders like Port Huron, we expect all providers will see the value of IRIS in handling the data deluge and creating new opportunities to deepen understanding, sharpen focus and align improvement efforts for safety, quality and surveillance," Livaudais added.
