The Valley Hospital, a part of New Jersey-based Valley Health System, has selected Merge Healthcare’s CTMS for Investigators solution for enterprise-wide management of its clinical trials.

The Valley Hospital sought a clinical trials management system (CTMS) to centralise study data for a large volume of studies across all therapeutic areas, including oncology and cardiology studies.

The hospital’s primary goal was to increase efficiency and centralise its business operations.

After evaluating several other available options, The Valley Hospital selected Merge CTMS for Investigators because of the flexibility it offered to track all study types, and its overall ease-of-use.

Merge CTMS system allows The Valley Hospital to centralise study information, organise research activities, and improve recruitment and financial performance.

"Merge CTMS for Investigators delivers powerful results for any size research operation, and consolidates study information in one place."

Using the system’s flexible reporting options, The Valley Hospital can now quickly and easily report results to its key stakeholders.

Merge eClinical president Zaher El-Assi said the company is pleased that the hospital has selected Merge CTMS as a solution for its clinical research business and operational needs.

"Merge CTMS for Investigators delivers powerful results for any size research operation, and consolidates study information in one place," El-Assi added.

Merge CTMS supports the requirements of single as well as multiple sites, with a comprehensive suite of tools for independent research sites, physician networks, SMOs, hospitals, health systems and academic medical centres.

The Valley Hospital is a fully accredited, acute care, not-for-profit hospital that serves more than 440,000 people in 32 towns in Bergen County and adjoining communities.
