Arkansas Palliative Care palliative and primary care director Nikki Taylor said: “We were looking for a healthtech partner that understood our unique needs, as we are not a typical palliative or primary care provider.

“Through a comprehensive search, we realised that NextGen Healthcare was exceptionally well-positioned to support the broad scope of our work, helping Arkansas residents manage ongoing healthcare needs.

“We’re excited to see how these technology investments elevate billing and data integrity and improve the staff experience by automating tedious manual processes.”

From 1 October, Arkansas Palliative Care and Arkansas Hospice will rebrand as LifeTouch Health. This change will unify their services, providing a comprehensive continuum of care under a single brand for seniors and patients with life-limiting illnesses.

NextGen Healthcare president and chief operating officer Srinivas (Sri) Velamoor said, “Arkansas Palliative Care is doing vitally important work to help Arkansas residents manage chronic illness and other healthcare needs.

“We’re honoured to support the organisation’s growth at such an exciting time in its history and share their team’s commitment to helping staff, providers, and patients achieve better outcomes.”

According to the company, NextGen Referrals, powered by Luma and revenue cycle management solutions, helps streamline billing processes by automating referrals and insurance verifications.

Additionally, NextGen Financial and Operational Analytics helps to enhance data integrity and reporting through predictive analytics. Providers gain access to client records via NextGen Mobile, ensuring seamless access to patient information.
