The 250-bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital will offer free treatment to underprivileged patients in the tribal belt of Gujarat.
The £1m project will include roof repairs, new electrics and transformation of disused bathrooms into storage spaces.
Patients will now get easy access to Women's Assessment Center located in the lobby of the Pavilion.
The new facility will bring a wide range of specialty services onto the RDHW campus to support Williamsburg residents.
Following the topping out ceremony, the $507.41m hospital is expected to be ready in 2023.
The centre will bring quality care closer to residents of Westlake, Downtown Los Angeles and nearby areas.
