BCMH will also deploy Oracle Health Seamless Exchange to cleanse, normalise, and aggregate patient data from external sources to establish comprehensive patient histories.
Oracle Health CommunityWorks is designed for critical access hospitals and smaller health systems, helping to improve patient access, optimise workflows, and reduce staff pressures through virtual care features, digital infrastructure, and interoperability.
BCMH is a 15-bed critical access hospital with more than 200 employees. It includes multiple specialities, walk-in clinic, a family medicine clinic, and 24/7 emergency services that serve Baraga County.
Having used Oracle ambulatory solutions in clinics successfully for five years, BCMH aims to standardise Oracle technology throughout its clinics and hospitals to consolidate systems and save clinicians time by replacing manual data-sharing processes.

By GlobalDataBCMH CEO Rob Stowe said: “Oracle Health understands the unique needs of critical access hospitals, and we expect that adopting a more integrated approach will help us boost operational efficiency and enhance care quality in our community.
“With Oracle Health CommunityWorks solutions and Clinical AI Agent, we are enhancing the clinician experience and enabling them to make more informed decisions regarding patient care.”
The expanded use of Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent will relieve doctors from manually documenting patient visits, as the AI-powered, voice-enabled tool drafts structured notes from conversations for review and approval.
This reduces administrative workloads contributing to burnout and allows more patient interaction.
Oracle Health Seamless Exchange helps securely aggregate data from local and national sources, including immunisation registries, cleans, and integrates it into clinician workflows, creating unified patient records and further reducing documentation time.
