Massachusetts-based real estate builders and construction company BOND Building Construction has launched phase 2 of emergency department revamp and expansion at Elliot Hospital in New Hampshire.

The 22,000ft2 renovation project, named Irving and Bernice Singer Emergency Department, involved a $750,000 investment in COVID-related improvements, including UV lighting, negative air rooms, and separate HVAC systems.

Completed in April 2023, phase 2 is said to improve hospital’s emergency services, featuring 32 private exam rooms, three trauma rooms, ten rapid triage and treatment bays, and other enhancements. Top of Form

This 22,000ft2 renovation aimed to enhance the hospital’s capacity and capabilities while ensuring continuous access to emergency services during construction.

Elliot Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine section chief and medical director Matthew Dayno said: “The Elliot provides the highest level of care and responsiveness possible to our patients.
