CMH will introduce the Oracle Health clinical AI agent, a voice-driven tool designed to automate clinical documentation, allowing clinicians to spend more time on direct patient care.
The hospital will also adopt Oracle Health Seamless Exchange, enabling clinicians to access unified patient records and collaborate on care with surrounding hospitals.
CMH operates a 25-bed critical access hospital alongside nine primary and speciality care clinics in Central New York. The region’s growth has increased demand for streamlined healthcare provision.
Disconnected and highly customised legacy systems previously led to complex workflows, duplicate patient records, and administrative inefficiencies affecting both patient care and staff workload.

By GlobalDataBy standardising on Oracle Health Foundation EHR, CMH expects to enhance patient care delivery, improve provider satisfaction, and reduce documentation time.
The integration of the Oracle Health clinical AI agent will reduce reliance on manual data entry by automatically drafting structured notes from patient-physician interactions.
Physicians will review and approve these notes rather than entering them manually, helping reduce administrative burdens that contribute to clinician burnout.
CMH will use Oracle Health seamless exchange to collect data from external sources, including national exchanges and immunisation registries.
The system processes and organises this information, making it accessible within clinician workflows. This approach is intended to provide clinicians with complete patient records to support clinical decisions.
CMH president and CEO Jeffery Coakley said: “Choosing Oracle Health is a pivotal step in our journey to modernise and unify our clinical systems.
“With Oracle Health’s integrated EHR and innovative AI-driven solutions, we look forward to automating our workflows, supporting our providers, and strengthening our ability to serve patients with greater efficiency, coordination, and care.”
In November 2025, Baraga County Memorial Hospital in the US deployed Oracle Health CommunityWorks solutions and expanded its use of the Clinical AI Agent to streamline clinician workflows.
