Encompass Health and BSA Health System have announced the launch of Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo, a 50-bed facility in Texas, US.
Now welcoming patients, the inpatient rehabilitation site aims to expand access to services in the region, with a focus on helping patients regain independence and functional ability through coordinated, team-based care.

Covering more than 54,000ft², it offers rehabilitation services for patients recuperating from complex orthopaedic conditions, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and amputations.
Patients at this facility will receive at least three hours of intensive occupational, physical and speech therapy five days each week, in addition to 24-hour nursing care and frequent physician visits.
An interdisciplinary team creates customised treatment plans aligned with each patient’s recovery goals.

The hospital provides an activities of daily living suite featuring real-world simulated spaces, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an in-house dialysis suite, a dining room, a landscaped therapy courtyard with recreational areas, dayroom areas, and an in-house pharmacy.

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is Encompass Health’s 29th facility in Texas.
