Indonesia-based private hospital network Mayapada Healthcare has chosen NetSfere to secure and modernise real-time communications throughout its facilities.

This strategic move is aimed at addressing the increasing cybersecurity risks and compliance requirements faced by healthcare providers in Indonesia.

By integrating NetSfere’s platform, Mayapada Healthcare is transitioning away from consumer-grade messaging apps to a system designed for healthcare-grade data protection and regulatory compliance.

Mayapada Healthcare’s chief technology officer Julius Kurniawan said: “Data security is paramount in modern healthcare.

“NetSfere’s architecture allows our clinicians and staff to have compliant, real-time communication across different mediums and with different teams, without compromising patient privacy or operational efficiency.”

The implementation of NetSfere will span across Mayapada’s hospitals in Tangerang, Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Surabaya, and Kuningan.

NetSfere CEO and president Anurag Lal said: “In today’s healthcare landscape, secure, IT-governed communication isn’t optional — it’s mission-critical.

“Partnering with Mayapada Healthcare, we’re delivering quantum-proof, compliant communication that empowers care teams and protects patient outcomes.”

The platform’s advanced post-quantum cryptography is claimed to ensure encryption, guarding against both current and future cybersecurity threats.

Additionally, the integration of generative AI aids in streamlining workflows, enhancing care coordination, and expediting clinical decisions.

Mayapada Healthcare chief medical officer Dr Dini Handayani said: “Secure communication between clinicians is critical to delivering coordinated care.

“NetSfere provides us with a modern alternative to fragmented messaging tools that often risk compliance and exposure of patient data.”

NetSfere is collaborating with its local partner PT Kualitas Tekhnologi Asia (Qualitas) for the rollout.

This collaboration ensures smooth integration, local support, and long-term success.

PT. Kualitas Tekhnologi Asia vice-president Dr Predy Setiawan said: “We’re proud to support Mayapada Hospital in deploying NetSfere’s advanced, secure communication platform.

“With NetSfere’s built-in encryption, compliance controls, and real-time messaging, we’re ensuring seamless integration and clinical coordination across their hospital network.”
