Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) has inaugurated a 100-bed hospital in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, strengthening its position in the state.
This facility is the third for the paediatric multi-speciality chain in Andhra Pradesh, following its establishments in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.

Situated strategically between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, the hospital serves as a regional hub for the East and West Godavari districts.
The Rajahmundry facility addresses healthcare needs for a population of approximately 10-12 million people across affluent tier-two cities and neighbouring districts.
It offers comprehensive paediatric and perinatal care services, including 24/7 consultant-led emergency care, advanced NICU and PICU facilities, high-risk obstetrics, laparoscopic gynaecology, speciality paediatric clinics, foetal medicine, and fertility services through ‘BirthRight by Rainbow’.
This launch follows recent openings in Warangal and Guwahati, marking the company’s third new hospital in FY26.

The development is part of a strategic growth roadmap, combining greenfield developments and selective acquisitions to expand reach in high-growth healthcare markets.
