Sant’ Andrea completely implemented digital pathology, investing nearly €1.5m ($1.74m), with approximately €800,000 funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The digital pathology solutions aim to streamline and accelerate pathology diagnostics for clinicians at the point of care.
With the integration of Datalogue, pathology results are incorporated into the enterprise imaging platform, offering clinicians a consolidated view of clinical data to assist in decision making.
In October 2025, GE HealthCare announced partnerships with two US health systems, namely the Queen’s Health Systems and Duke Health, to enhance the development of its AI-driven hospital operations software.
