Thailand’s public hospital channels have adopted SteriLance Medical’s safety lancets, PRESS PLUS, IMPRESS, and LITE3, after a successful tender by a humanitarian organisation.
The supply and post-market support are managed by an authorised local distributor, who holds the necessary Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registrations.

The lancets are currently accessible via public hospital channels and medical distribution networks throughout Thailand.
Plans are also in place to expand availability to additional hospital groups and private healthcare chains.
Designed to minimise accidental needle exposure and enhance the comfort of users in high-throughput environments, the lancets feature a single-use automatic retraction mechanism and low-pain skin entry. This supports sharps injury prevention practices in capillary sampling.
SteriLance spokesperson said: “With continued adoption in trusted public institutions, we’re helping front-line professionals raise safety and efficiency for routine capillary blood sampling.

SteriLance offers both personal and professional blood sampling solutions, including lancing devices, safety lancets, and associated consumables.
These products are designed to combine user comfort with clinical safety. The company ensures compliance with CE MDR, ISO 13485, and Thai FDA registration through a local licence holder.
