The Bridges Alzheimer’s Assisted Living in Rio Grande Valley, US, has collaborated with Inspiren to implement AUGi, an AI-powered care planning solution that aims to enhance staff efficiency, resident safety, and emergency response in their communities.

With Inspiren’s senior living ecosystem support, The Bridges can now offer improved quality of life.

The AI solution immediately notifies care providers when residents may require additional help.

In the event of a potentially unsafe situation, care teams are immediately alerted on their mobile devices, enabling them to respond swiftly and offer tailored assistance.

Inspiren’s AUGi wall-mounted device leverages advanced visual anonymisation technology to maintain privacy while ensuring care on time.

Residents at the communities empowered by Inspiren’s system have seen up to an 80% reduction in falls resulting in injury, a 60% decrease in hospital admissions, and a 50% reduction in overall falls.

The Bridges Alzheimer’s Assisted Living general partner John Beaman said: “At The Bridges, our mission is to provide the highest quality of care while honouring each resident’s independence and dignity.

“By integrating Inspiren’s technology, our residents and their loved ones can rest assured that care needs are continuously monitored and met with proactive, compassionate attention.”

Inspiren’s technology not only elevates care at The Bridges by pinpointing and notifying staff to potential fall risks before incidents occur but also allows quicker assistance in urgent situations, thereby lessening the risk of injury.

It also tracks behaviour patterns for customisations and refinement of care plans, allowing residents to maintain their independence and privacy while taking advantage of the improved safety measures.

Inspiren founder and chief clinical officer Michael Wang said: “The Bridges’ 25-year commitment to compassionate, personalised care perfectly aligns with our mission to enhance safety without compromising independence.”
