Completion of this deal has resulted in the launch of Guthrie Lourdes Hospital to offer healthcare services to the Binghamton community.
Outpatient services at the campus will start from 5 February, followed by inpatient services from 20 February.
This 12-bed unit is dedicated to treating children with behavioural health issues alongside additional medical complexities.
The pavilion has 18 operating rooms, including three hybrid rooms with advanced imaging, and 132 intensive care rooms.
Due to open next year, the centre will provide primary care, neurology, cardiology and urgent care services.
The acquisition is intended to expand Cardinal Health's range of speciality business and technology offerings.
The university will use the funds to develop a virtual health system and expansion of simulation centre.
