Force Therapeutics has announced a partnership to bring its advanced digital solution to ECU Health for enhancing patient engagement and standardising care.

The platform helps patients prepare for surgery, provides quality education remotely, and automatically collects patient-reported outcome measurements (PROMs) required by the US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

ECU Health Service Lines vice-president Dustin Allis said: “As part of our commitment to deliver high-quality patient care experiences across eastern North Carolina, we are excited to collaborate with Force Therapeutics to augment our world-class in-person care with effective remote and digital care technology solutions.”

The collaboration is in line with ECU Health's goal to enhance public health across eastern North Carolina.

Both organisations recognise the potential of health tools to ensure quality care.

The platform's design focuses on improving recovery through tailored support for patients at home.

Force Therapeutics will assist ECU Health by providing digital care instructions, educational videos, and virtual physical therapy to support patients recovering at home.

Additionally, the care process can be managed through automated alerts, virtual joint classes, and customisable tracking lists to help providers monitor patients.

Force Therapeutics will also offer support in optimising the delivery of care by remote monitoring, educational content, and alerts throughout the care episode to help lower the risk of readmissions and complications.

Force Therapeutics client success and strategy head Dawna Newman said: “We are excited to collaborate with ECU Health to drive innovation and further the implementation of quality-focused care.

“Our platform is built to supplement in-person care with digital tools to boost patient engagement and satisfaction with clinically validated remote care.”
