Healthcare provider Nest Health has introduced its home-based treatment for opioid addiction, Nest Rooted Recovery, which incorporates medical, behavioural, and social care for families.
This new medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) programme offers a fully integrated care model that extends beyond addiction treatment to include primary care, chronic condition management, mental health services, and social care.

The Nest Rooted Recovery programme, accessible from home and online, is grounded in evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices from various health organisations, including ACOG, WHO, SAMHSA, CDC, and NIDA.
It offers in-home clinical assessments to assess the seriousness of opioid dependence, concurrent substance use, social determinants of health, and infectious diseases.
The programme offers the commencement and supervision of medication using treatments authorised by the FDA, predominantly buprenorphine/naloxone, and guarantees coordination with pharmacies to facilitate prompt access to medicines and tools for preventing overdoses.
Patients enrolled in the programme benefit from ongoing monitoring, including frequent provider check-ins, education to manage medication, and emergency response training.
Nest Health facilitates transitions to long-term recovery partners for in-person and telehealth-based support.
