Global health and technology consulting company Nordic has partnered with CLEAR, a company specialising in secure identity solutions, to integrate its technology across the healthcare ecosystem.
The partnership aims to improve information security and enhance access for both patients and providers.
Nordic provides end-to-end health IT support to over 700 healthcare organisations worldwide and is set to use CLEAR1, the reusable identity platform of CLEAR.
This move is designed to address the challenges faced by healthcare systems that often resort to manual identity and security verification processes, which can result in heightened administrative burdens and cybersecurity threats.
CLEAR1 offers a NIST IAL2/AAL2-compliant identity layer.
It offers patients and providers a privacy-centric credential that can be used repeatedly to access services throughout their care journey.
This includes everything from establishing patient records to confirming coverage and retrieving information about claims.
