Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Healthcare Practitioners and Technical Occupations, which accounted for 40% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 55% year-on-year. Second highest were Healthcare Support Occupations, which accounted for 14% and drop by 58% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 25% of the new job postings and 42% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in healthcare industry accounted for 23% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by CVS Health with 27,982, followed by Tenet Healthcare with 10,488, while the highest increase was at Universal Health Services at 21%.
