The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 31.18% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Switzerland’s healthcare industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 79.3% in August 2021, registering a 34.56% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 10.83% share, a decrease of 23.43% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.39%, registering a 20.2% decline from July 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.59%, down 40.74% over the previous month.

Top five healthcare companies in Switzerland’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 33.32% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Switzerland’s healthcare industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
DXC Technology posted 1,168 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 34.57% over the previous month, followed by Zurich Insurance Group with 21 jobs and a 10.53% growth. Swiss Re with 18 IT jobs and Cognizant Technology Solutions with 7 jobs, recorded a 28.57% flat growth and a 36.36% decrease, respectively, while Allianz recorded an increase of 250% with 7 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.13%, down by 36.1% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.9% share, registered a decline of 28.42% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.65% share, down 14.4% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.32%, recording a month-on-month increase of 300%.
