Exploring the Diverse Services of Top Indian Hospitals

India is home to more than 69,000 public and private hospitals, comprising nearly 1.8 million beds. The country provides free healthcare services through its public health system governed independently by the individual states and union territories.

The healthcare services under the public health system are provided through government-operated hospitals but these facilities are often underfunded and lack basic facilities. The general population, therefore, turns to the private sector, which accounts for 80% of the healthcare market.
