Later this year, Wellsville Health Park is set to introduce rotating speciality services from AdventHealth Ottawa. These included rheumatology, behavioural health, and women’s care.

This move enables Wellsville to operate in a manner closely akin to the AdventHealth Ottawa’s Health Park.

AdventHealth Ottawa president and CEO Brendan Johnson said: “This is a wonderful example of what can happen when AdventHealth Ottawa and our local communities work hand-in-hand.

“The expansion of services here in Wellsville will improve access and outcomes for countless families and patients.”

A ribbon-cutting event marked the inauguration of the expanded facility, with US Representative Sharice Davids and members from the Wellsville and Ottawa Area Chambers of Commerce in attendance.

The care team at the Wellsville Health Park is led by primary care providers Courtney Petz and Kelsey Lewis, who cater to patients across all age groups.

The expansion is part of AdventHealth’s broader strategy to serve rural communities through growth and community collaborations.
