CarePilot has formed a strategic partnership with Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) to introduce its AI scribe solution across the latter’s managed and affiliated hospitals in the US.
CarePilot’s ambient AI technology is designed to convert spoken clinical conversations into structured documentation, allowing clinicians to prioritise patient care over administrative tasks.
CHC information technology regional vice-president Joe Ford said: “We’re excited to work with CarePilot to bring AI to community health care and improve the experience for our patients and providers.”
The partnership, which follows a successful pilot of CarePilot’s ambient AI technology, is anticipated to streamline clinical processes and enhance the overall patient experience throughout CHC’s network.
Known for its support of community-based hospitals across the country, CHC oversees or assists in the operations of 23 hospitals and extends its influence to more than 200 network hospitals through its consulting, IT management, telecom, and supply chain programmes.
The partnership with CarePilot is expected to alleviate administrative burdens on healthcare professionals, optimise clinical documentation, and promote better engagement between providers and patients.
CHC said in a statement: “We’re committed to bringing cutting-edge technology to rural and community hospitals. Our collaboration with CarePilot and their ambient AI platform is a testament to that commitment.
“By automating documentation in ambulatory, ED, and inpatient settings and ensuring seamless compatibility with various EHRs, we’re not only improving operational efficiency but also making this advanced technology accessible to our dedicated healthcare professionals, ultimately driving better patient outcomes in the communities we serve.”
CHC owns, operates and consults with hospitals, offering the expertise and resources that community hospitals require to enhance quality outcomes and financial performance.
