D-HH to use Conifer Health’s RCM services

Conifer Health Solutions (Conifer), a US-based healthcare service company, has entered into an agreement with Cheshire Medical Center to provide comprehensive revenue cycle management (RCM) services.

Conifer Health Solutions (Conifer), a US-based healthcare service company, has entered into an agreement with Cheshire Medical Center to provide comprehensive revenue cycle management (RCM) services.

Cheshire Medical Center is a 116-bed, rural hospital affiliate of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH), based in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Currently, Conifer offers end-to-end RCM services, which includes patient access, coding, account receivables management for D-HH’s academic medical centre, cancer centre, children’s hospital and a multispecialty physician group practice.

D-HH chief financial officer Dan Jantzen said: “Conifer Health has helped Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health achieve significant improvement in both patient satisfaction with billing-related issues and key revenue cycle financial metrics.

“We are pleased to be able to expand our relationship, as Conifer Health has proven itself as a trusted partner who can help us address today’s complex challenges, and help us succeed in the evolving healthcare market.”

D-HH has opted to Conifer Health, which will be providing patient access, coding and accounts receivable management services at Cheshire.

According to D-HH, Conifer Health RCM services has demonstrated the ability to improve patient satisfaction as well as improve overall cash flow and operating margins across the system.
