“The AccuReg pre-service welcome call will also identify special patient needs in advance so, for example, we will know if the patient requires special assistance and can have a wheelchair waiting for them."

According to Magnolia Regional Health Center CFO and senior vice-president of finance Brian Craven, AccuReg Patient Concierge Services team's registration process will help reduce payer denials without having to hire and train staff for the process.

Magnolia is also using AccuReg systems for registration question and answer, eligibility and benefits verification, medical necessity screening, authorisation detection and retrieval, patient estimates and point of service collections.
