US-based Medica has partnered with Mayo Clinic Health System (Mayo Clinic) to provide new healthcare services in north-western Wisconsin.

Effective from 1 July 2014 or later, the new services will be offered through Medica’s private health exchange, My Plan by Medica.

The private health exchange, which is powered by Bloom Health, helps employers offer an integrated health plan enrolment experience for their employees, including plan selection, account administration and customer service.

The firms will work together to improve the quality of care, manage the total cost of care and optimise the consumer experience.

Medica commercial markets senior vice president and general manager John Naylor said that Medica is delighted to partner with Mayo Clinic Health System.
